Antenne Reunion was authorised to broadcast as a TV channel in March 1990. It is the first private TV channel launched in La Reunion
It offers programs oriented toward young people with local and regional news, TV series and movies, making Antenne Reunion the first TV channel in the heart of the reunion people.

Since 1990 the group extended his activities to other Medias: mobile Operator (Antenne reunion mobile), web news press (www.linfo.re), real estate market (Immo974) and since January 2011 a radio station with Antenne Reunion Radio.

The Solution
Saint Denis La Reunion, 15/10/2011, the challenge for WinMedia Europe, broadcast software publisher was to innovate and create a Global Media platform across Radio and Television.
WinMedia has deployed an Axia digital audio network for Radio that allows production, scheduling and broadcast, combined (for TV) with a Blackmagic video Card that handles video capture and delivery of content reflow platform thanks to WinLogger/WinTransfer.
The hardware architecture provided by WinMedia to fit these requirements includes a database server with Windows Server 2008 Workgroup edition, 6 GB RAM and 2 TB storage with RAID redundancy, 2 HP ML350 G6 music/ads and 4 ads area broadcast servers, 1 Z400 server for failure broadcast, 2 workstations for music and traffic scheduling, 3 workstations for production, one DL 160 server dedicated to Logging, edition and automatic export of every podcasts to the various websites of the group.

Benefits
WinMedia has set up, in partnership with Save Diffusion, French Axia distributor and integrator, a reliable and modular Audio over IP Network based on 2 ASI 6585 livewire soundcards. This type of professional PCI express sound card uses the Axia Livewire protocol to record 8 input Stereo streams and play 8 output Stereo streams over a standard Ethernet network. DSP based, all compression is handled by an on-board DSP, allowing the host computer to focus on other tasks and providing the best audio reactivity on the market (Play 2 ms). The first one is for the main program and the second one is to split the ads area into 4 different zones The Split is made by the Pathfinder Pro software that receives commands from the WinMedia.
The Playout connects to an Axia Element Modular Studio Control Surface of 8 faders started thanks to WinMedia/Axia GPIO.
The innovating part of the project lies within the merge of Radio and Television. This is possible thanks to the WinMedia Global Media Platform which connects WinMedia and WinLogger with the recording of 3 Audio Channels and 1 video/audio channel.The main radio studio is filmed by motorised video cameras; this video signal is plugged into the Input of the Blackmagic Decklink Studio Video card. WinLogger streams the live signal and the recorded audio signal on the other audio channel can be automatically edited, thanks to start/stop commands sent by WinMedia, converted and transferred to the FTP server for delivering on the different websites. The result is a perfect symbiosis in between Radio and Television: When a special guest is the host of the radio station, Antenne Reunion TV can broadcast its video on television! This futurist setup rejuvenate the concept of radio and makes it “Teleradio” or “TV Radio” !
