Audio & Video Conferent Recording, Management and Transcription
WinMeeting is a complete software suite dedicated to multi-track recording, logging, archiving and general management of audio and video.
Its functionalities include completely secured distribution of audio, re-transcription with the use of simple and effective interfaces and the simultaneous collection of various associated meta-data like text, files, markers, flags… Its modular architecture and design make WinMedia easily adaptable and configurable depending on the desired configuration as it can range from a simple meeting to court houses to government parliaments.
As a complete solution, the WinMeeting Suite satisfies all the needs of conference organizers including: scheduling, manual and automatic recording, insertions of associated data in real time, editing, extraction, exporting in various formats on to CD/DVD, transfers of data for consultation and interpretation, user rights managed access of contents, text transcription, simultaneous translation and finally complete archiving of all contents and their associated data. It is configurable from a “standalone” workstation to a network based solution with centralized servers.
The number of possible audio and/or video sources to be recorded is virtually unlimited as the system is expandable and each workstation can record up to 32 audio tracks or 8 video tracks. In most cases, WinMeeting in configured with several recording servers that receive orders for the various management and recording modules of audio and video that then stock the recordings in a organized database divided into categories. The following chapter with present and describe each of the various modules and their functionalities. These modules are divided up into 3 categories and are linked as they all run of an SQL server.
